Entrance Fees and Other Information
The registration fee will be $45 and is non-refundable or able to be transferred from one person to another. Fees must be paid in full, and packets must be picked up before race day. There are five locations where race packets can be picked up before the race. After this has been accomplished, you will need to know where to park. Parking Panda has partnered with the race to guaranteed parking spaces for the day of the race for everyone that books in advance. If you don’t use this partner, then you will need to try to arrive early enough to find street parking and be prepared to walk a little ways.
Course for Race
The course for the race is a USAT&F-certified 5K course that is a point-to-point course. The course provides many obstacles for both the amateur runner as well as for the seasoned veteran. The course does not allow for bikes, skates or stroller or baby joggers. This is for the safety of the other runners. The course starts at Charles and Franklin Streets and proceeds south along the parade route to Conway Street, east to Light Street, south to Key Highway to a turnaround point near Jackson Street. Return on Key Highway to go north on Light Street to Pratt Street then to Market Place (left turn). Finish on Market Place between Pratt and Lombard Streets at Power Plant Live.
There is a post-race party that will be held where refreshments and awards will be given out. This is free to all the runners and volunteers for the race. Make sure that you have your identification ready near the finish line to participate in the free beer that is part of the post race party. This will be an experience for all of those in attendance. While this race is an hour and a half drive from Manassas, it is a lot of fun and supports some great causes such as The March of Dimes and Athletes Serving Athletes!
