Florida Georgia Line: Smooth Tour
The month kicks off Saturday, August 5th at 7:00 pm with the country rock sound of Florida Georgia Line making a stop on their Smooth Tour. The band established themselves in 2012 with their debut album, “Here’s to the Good Times,” which features the classic ballad, “Stay,” which hit No. 1 on the Billboard Country charts. In the following year, they released, “Cruise,” which held the number one spot on the charts for 24 weeks.
United We Rock Tour 2017
The United We Rock Tour unites some of the great rock and roll bands of the past and Brings Back the Greats to Manassas, Virginia. REO Speedwagon and Styx rock the night away with Don Felder of The Eagles. Known for hits like “One of These Nights” and “Take it Easy,” Felder takes listeners back to the seventies. “Come Sail Away” with Styx, who will be rocking the house with their multi-hit set and REO Speedwagon will surely be “Ridin’ the Storm Out” on Sunday, August 13th at 7:00 pm at The Jiffy Lube Center.
Deep Purple and Alice Cooper
On Wednesday, August 23rd at 6:30 pm, the sounds of rock and roll will fill the air at the Jiffy Lube Center as legendary Deep Purple and Alice Cooper take the stage. The tribute to classic rock continues as these two acts bring star quality and classic hits like “Smoke on the Water” and “Schools Out for Summer.” School is still out, so enjoy this one from the great concert lineup of 2017 at the Jiffy Lube Center.
On Friday, August 25th you can catch John Mayer at the Jiffy Lube Center in Bristow. He is sure to bring down the house with his soulful sound and top hits such as “Gravity” and “Your Body is a Wonderland.”
Jason Aldean’s: They Don’t Know Tour
On Saturday, August 26th at 7:30 pm, the music shifts gears with this country music fest by the one and only Jason Aldean. This summer he is working alongside guest artists Chris Young, Kane Brown, and Deejay Silver. Aldean is best known for upbeat country hits like “Dirt Road Anthem” and “Crazy Town,” but is known to take it down a notch with introspective ballads like “Why,” his first No. 1 hit.
