Heritage Railway Festival
Experience Manassas at its best this June and come out to the 23rd Annual Heritage Railway Festival. This family celebration of rich railroad history features train memorabilia, specialty vendors, and live performances. Watch miniature trains come to life! These elaborate train displays are created by a number of local model train groups. Take your love of trains to a new level by boarding one of our four train excursions to Clifton and back.

Manassas Jazz Festival
Previously known as the Manassas Wine & Jazz Festival, this year’s Manassas Jazz Festival is expanding to include wine, beer, and spirits – something for everyone to enjoy! The event will be featuring Virginia farm wineries, Virginia craft breweries, and local Virginia distilleries at this year’s event. An afternoon of live jazz music will make this the perfect day! Bring out your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy a great event in downtown Manassas! The rain date, in the case of severe weather, is June 25th.
This event is an all-American party attracting over 100,000 people from Manassas and surrounding cities and counties. It will feature live entertainment, rides, carnival food, and games! Be sure to bring your lawn chairs and blankets and come early to get the best seats on the Manassas Museum Lawn for the firework display at 9:15pm!

Bands, Brews & BBQ
Historic Downtown Manassas will hold its 7th Annual Bands, Brews, and Barbecue Festival on September 9, 2017, from 12pm to 6pm (last pour at 5:45 pm). This ticketed event features award-winning craft beers for sampling and Northern Virginia’s best barbecue – as well as incredible live music. Ticket prices will go up the day of the event.
The Annual Fall Jubilee, in Historic Downtown Manassas will be held on October 7, 2017, from 10am until 5pm. This year’s Jubilee will include an assortment of fun for both kids and adults with over 100 crafter and community booths, live music and entertainment, and more! The Fall Jubilee is free to the public. Bring your family out for a day of fun – play games, shop at unique crafter booths, pick out your pumpkins for fall, and so much more!
